Generates a sense of community among the youth, providing a safe space to develop positive self and peer relationships. Designed to create new opportunities for youth (12-25) to reach their full potential, through 1:1 counseling, academic & employment support, mental health education, arts/ multimedia, & training & mentorship.
Need a place to go with your friends to hang out after school? Come to Bloom Community Outreach Chill Zone! There will be music, board games, movie nights, and so much more.
Friday's from 5 pm - 6:30 pm.
The After School Program (ASP) runs during the school year, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. The program has these three elements to improve the health and wellness of youth:
1. Physical activity (wide variety of sports and recreation)
2. Health food choices and nutrition education
3. Wellness and personal health education (special workshops and guest speakers)

Youth will be provided with in-depth knowledge of music engineering, mixing, and production techniques. To help prepare for the technical, hands-on studio components of the programs.

Youth participate in a 4-week session, the program is designed to build confidence, enhance public speaking, and leadership skills, and build positive relationships with other youth & community members. The youth will receive a certificate of completion.

Looking to get more connected with the community? Looking for a friend? Seeking some support or guidance? Join our mentoring program that allows youth to connect with an individual with lived experience. Mentoring includes a wide range of activities that are education, recreation, and arts-based, helping our youth to stay connected, engaged, and supported.

Individual supportive and informal counseling services to help youth ages 12 to 25 manage personal relationships, set goals, and make self-identified life decisions. We provide a safe space for youth to converse about personal and social issues including bullying, family concerns, mental health, education, and employment-related concerns.

Facilitate information sessions and 1:1 support about navigating the education system, post-secondary options, career paths, OSAP, and other funding options such as grants, awards, and scholarships.
1:1 support and group sessions for youth who are seeking employment. Providing assistance with resume/cover letter, interview preparation, navigating the job market, and employment search tips/tools.
Hosting monthly workshops in which we canvas our sessions around a variety of topics, our content provides youth with resources, creativity, open dialogue, training, enhanced knowledge, and skill development.
Assisting youth at risk to promote a healthy relationship with community members by attending court dates, and providing external referrals to legal resources.
Supportive counselling based on the ideology of bridging the gap between parents and youth, and a safe space for collective open conversations.
High school students are required to complete 40 hours of volunteer work during their high school career to graduate. Bloom Community Outreach provides volunteer opportunities to youth to achieve hours and ensure they receive transferrable skills to utilize in professional and personal future endeavors.
